5 Months - There was no well visit this month, but we did have a vaccine appointment where Brody given Rotavirus and PCV-13. As always, he was very brave and only gave us a pout and a soft cry!
This month Brody discovered his toes! He loves to chew on them any chance he gets. He also rolled from his back to his belly. And most exciting (For me anyway!) he said MAMA! :)

Brody was VERY excited to start getting his hands on some "real" food this month. :) Our Pediatrician said we could start giving him solids between 4 and 6 months, but the AAP recommends 6 months so we decided to wait. I'm happy we did! He started showing signs that he was ready around 5 1/2 months. He would stare at us eating and watch our every move. When we finally gave him rice cereal he was a pro! He knew exactly what to do and ate like a champ!

We also took 2 trips to S. Carolina in March and April. It was nice to enjoy some warm weather for a change! Here is Grammy and Grampy with Brody at the beach in Charleston.
And of course we can't forget Brody with the Easter Bunny. He was not impresed!
